Master of Ordnance
The Master of Ordnance pledges to keep the void-ship's weapons and fighting crew in the finest condition, and then directs them to destroy the Lord-Captains order. He is responsible for the quality of the gun-deck crews, the workings of the armoured munition vaults deep within the vessel and the operation of weapons in void-battle. If the vessel boasts torpedoes, fighter squadrons, or more esoteric ordnance, then these crews and systems also fall under the Masters purview.
Careers: Arch Militant, Void master.
Subordinates: Assembled officers of each gun-deck, lance battery, and other ordnance systems, munitions vault crew, commanding officer of small-craft squadrons.
Required skills:
Command: the varied battery and ordnance crews must fight as one, and the Master must lead them to do so.
Scolastic Lore (Tactica Imperialis): To use a weapon well, it places in the broader battle must be clear.
Trade (Voidfarer): Understanding the common practices of void-crew is necessary for those who direct there toil.
Benefits
When firing weapons while benefiting from the Lock on Target extended action, the Master of Ordnance adds an additional +5 bonus to the Ballistic Skills test.

Master of Ordnance
The Master of Ordnance in charge of the gunnery crews and , and in war. Prolx Tyor is a stern and humourless officer, who appears to be in his late thirties. Tall and thin, his face is severe, with deeply olive pigmentation, and narrow eyes. Unusually, Tyor began his career in the Imperial Guard, during which he developed a taste for extreme forms of discipline. He has no friends, and is known to be overly harsh to the crew and junior officers whom he believes shirk their duty. Tyor is responsible for the highest number of lashings ordered by any currently serving officer on the Forward unto Dawn. Unkind and uncaring, he is nonetheless an excellent commander and Gunnery commander. Tyor still wears the lieutenant's uniform he wore in the Guard, now modified to accommodate the Atreides insignia.
Now with rumours that Zeal the Master at Arms is looking to take this position from him, Prox Tyor has let it be known that he will not be standing down to work under some thuggish mercenary, the gunnery crew in turn have sided with there stern and humourless commander in this time of war and escalations between the two factions has begun to grow.
